Does anybody know if it is possible to replace the original bi-xenon headlights of an A6 2005 with the LED headlights from the A6 facelift? What about the RS6 headlights?

Ah much simpler, unfortunately mine don't even physically fit (different connector) will need to see if I can find a pinout somewhere
What year is your AUDI A6? Doesn't it have Bi-Xenon lamps?
Would you please explain a little bit more why your car has a different connector?

Dear Gasy.
Have you already purchased a pair of new ballast set for this modification? My A6 came with factory installed Bi-Xenon lamp without AFS. Should I purchase a new set of headlight with LED DRL only or plus ballast set?

Mine is a 2007 model, but it has just the standard halogen headlamps at the moment.

On my picture, I did not installed perfectly the headlight to my car because my test was only to see if the my car electrical wire fits to the headlight wire. And it was OK!!
I have installed only two screws of the three that it should be installed.
Please find a link where you will see how it fits perfectly to a pre-facelift A6:

No I do not think I have to change the bordnetz because it is version K
Are you sure??
My car is from June 2005, and I have no letter behind the reference!!
I have just received the new control module with the K letter.

I am not sure but that is what others who have done this before say, I have not tryed to connect the new headlights yet.
Did you see the last mail I send to you about the facelift headlights, when you have this hedlights did you get them working without AFS?

I been reading this thread, and theres seems to be some differences between the installation of the Facelift lights.
Am i right in saying that if you have the A6 with existing Bi-Xenons it is a simple swap out and some changes in VAG-COM? or are ther modifications to the connections for the DRL's?
I am looking at doing this mod, but more importantly creating a How to guide, but it would help to havea starting block to go from?
