I found an Japanese NEC interface module with associated cabling in my car. Is it or the cabling of any use to me when trying to get bluetooth in the car?

Here's the background:
My A6 (Japanese spec) has no bluetooth but has this cable in the center console.

I always suspected there was some kind of module beneath it but have never able to access it until now. I have now found an NEC Interface Handy 4E1 862 335 in the center console below the cable.

What is this for?
I don't have bluetooth in the car but I want to install it. Will the Handy help with this? I suspect the Handy might have something to do with Telephony.
If the module is not of use can I utilise the cabling that existing in the centre console?
Thanks in advance

Handy is German for Mobile, so your interface is in fact a telephone module. Yours is a Japanese-spec one so I'm not sure if it can be even used in Europe.

Would it be possible to use the cables in the Handy harness to connect a new bluetooth module? I realise I'd need to get the MOST connection to the centre console, but apart from that would all the connections I need be there? Then I would not need a new harness from Kufatec.
Does any anyone have a pin chart for the handy module?

I am going to replace the non-functioning Handy module with an SAP bluetooth module 4F1 910 336 D. I will be installing in the center armrest because that's where the old module was and thus most of the wires are already there.

The old module does not have an Open circuit diagnostic lead. Can I run a wire between the Open circuit diagnostic lead on an existing module (for example pin 5 on the CD changer) and the new bluetooth module (pin 14)? I think that's what is being described over at a6retrofit (Bluetooth phone prep and speech dialogue system retrofit Audi A6 (4F/C6) Avant MMI High (possibly relevant also for Q7/A8) - Audi A6 Q7 A8 A4 A5 Retrofit Jälkiasennus Nachrüsten Retro-fit) but wanted to double check.

Also, I need to run the aerial to the new module. Can I just run a new cable directly from the shark fin to the new module or does it need pass through an amplifier or something?

Thanks
