I have been using carlinkit3.0 in my Audi A5 for about two weeks now. The installation was a little tricky and the Chinese characters thrown briefly on the screen were a little disconcerting, but I have to say it has worked like a charm ever since. I get in the vehicle and within a couple of minutes I am up and running. There doesn’t seem to be much lag in real time communication on Apple Maps. Overall, I am super happy with this setup. It makes it convenient to use Apple CarPlay instead of the standard Audi set up — and it is a much better travel companion.

Two Weeks Using Experience with Wireless Carplay
Just a follow-up on this. I have been using the unit now into my second month and it has performed perfectly. I have had only occasional disconnects, but that was followed by a reconnection and then no problems. I understand that some are posting that they have issues, but I have not experienced any real problems personally. Maybe it just works better with my vehicle.
