RNS-E microphone volume too low, any fix?

I just retrofit my rns-e and oem BT. But the mic volume is too low,
i have to shout so other people hear me, did i installed it wrong?
Is there a fix?

Check you'll got the microphone correctly aligned with the grilles in the roof light fitting.

It's an easy swap to switch it with the wire going the other way, so why not try it?

Well, it seem's there is a way on the mic. There is an arrow on the mic that is supposed to point toward the driver (meaning the mic wires are on the passenger side). I opened the mic to see the internals, and it's not very well made (aka piece of cr@p).
anyway, by changing it to the right side, i've gain a tiny bit of volume in my voice, but still, it is sounding like i really far.
Guess i'll be looking for another mic, i've heard the 2010 are better!

Didn't seem to changed anything. Maybe a bad microphone or connection (wires or piggybacking) i have.
I set it at +6db, that is maximum. Maybe it should be - 6db to change something. I should made more test, if my GF stop taking my Audi ;)
