I have the 4E0 906 961 AC disc it was an update for Navigation CD only so we have to search:
4E0 906 961 AD
4E0 906 961 AE
4E0 906 961 AF
4E0 906 961 AG

 

Tomorrow I'll try to order all those CD's and we will see what they do.

According to my local dealer -

4E0 906 961 AD & AE are update discs for the Q7!!

And they have no pricing for the AF or AG yet as well

 

Ordered AD-AE-AF-AG. Only AD is available in Central stock at this moment but all are priced +/-2€.

 

Will this work for a A6 too?

Those CD's usually are for A6-A8-Q7 but I'm always waiting

 

I have no idea about SW 5140 , but Kafutec has updates to software: 4560 and 4690

No i'm always waiting the Cd's. Anyway every update is made and distributed for all EU countries.

No I have 4220 as everybody but I'm waiting a phone call from the dealer because the CD's should be in stock today.

Ok received CD AD-AE-AF-AG and maximum disappointment :evil: anyone of them can do the MMI update:
AD is for VAS-5051 use only
AE is a Flash update Cd for VAS -5051 use only
AF is an update for A8 BOSE 4000 only for US cars
AG is an update for A8 BOSE 4000 EU-cars
So the search will continue ....


This is the MY 2008 A8 MMI Screen.

 

So only the 4E0 906 961 AG disc has produced an update in my car . My DSP is now updated from Vers. 0440 to Vers.0460 :!:
I'm again curious to see if with this update my Bose Surround system will play magnificently but I've some dubts :?:
About the new A8 with 5140 version I had just a minute to spy some new software versions:
BTA is at 0950
AMI is at 0830
TV is at 0440
Navi DVD is a 2008 vers.
may be this is normal for 4L0.. Gateway now it is called J533_Gateway, sorry for the poor pictures:
