I have, in my hands, an XM receiver...model #XMD1000 with PN 3154X457-424 & XM Radio ID DVLD7OCK.

Wondering if this could be used to interface XM with RNS-E?? It as a 8 pin S-Video style connector labeled Controller/Head Unit, two audio out RCA's and an Antenna connection. Plus I have a Terk XM Direct Smart Signal Adapter PN XMDPIO100...but I think it for a Pioneer HU.

Considering adding xm to RNSE (already have a Roady II on board) and wondering if these can be used in any way...

Only Audi OEM components can be integrated with the RNS-E. Any aftermakret SAT receiver will allow to get connected via AUX in as CD changer emulator, but no control from and no display on the RNS-E.
