Hi anyone under taken this yet as i have a customer who has just fitted the led lights without any code changes now the high beam doesn't work etc and warning faults

I will post the scans whilst o try to work out what is needed to get theses to function as intended

I can see the led uses a lin signal and xenon does not so this needs looking at firstly

xenon j519>j431>or j745 >headlights

led j519> headlights additional lin signal

Anyway will post scans of this vehicle and of a factory fit led s8

so no need for address 55 and a lin signal needs to be set up so delete j431 run lin wire and encode

cant be that easy surely

What car are we talking about? S8 4H? As far as i read on ELSA, it takes more than just the headlights. Full LED headlights use some extra sensors (temperature sensors, etc), and they are not adaptive, so xenon range is no longer necessary. I think it's a very difficult retorfit, if not impossible. Maybe i'm wrong. If you manage to make it work, let me know.
