I installed yesterday my 2nd generation XM receiver ("E" unit) and it works just fine with my Euro RNS-E ("C" unit) flashed to US software 0020.
Ok, thnx for your quick respons!
Just to clarify, I have a EURO "C" that has been converted and a XM reciever that was previously hooked up to my Symphony II stereo. If I understand correctly the XM module should work... I see the XM option on the RSN-E but it only give me an initialization screen, then errors out. I put the VAG-Com on the car last night to see I was missing any settings, but everything looked ok. Please let me know if I am missing something here.

Thanks..
No ....XM receivers for Symphony and RNS-E are different.
With current XM receiver you will see only INITIALIZATION screen and if you lucky you will hear one of the stations without possibility to change it.

Check part # section for new receiver for RNS-E.
