Looking at his feedback, it sounds like it was an honest mistake, and could have been damaged during shipping. Did you you attempt to contact this seller to rectify the problem?
who not to buy an rns-e from, off ebay
just a warning if you are thinking of buying an RNS-E off ebay,
i bought one off this guy, it looked brand new, it was well packaged and it arrived very quickly from germany.
until i discovered it had no aerial plug! it was snapped off inside which took some of the printed circuit off with it.
i have managed to re-solder and fix the problem but that is besides the point.
his name is ROBERT GERKE and his ebay id is "gerke6444"

it defonatly was not damaged during shipping because the piece was missing completly, and it was very well packaged.
It was a mistake looking back now, but he insisted on doing the deal outside of ebay.
all i am saying really, is that you should be cautious if u are planning to buy from this dealer.
take the advice, or not.

I know there are at least 2-3 dealers out on eBay are also selling in this forum.
here's a tip: Don't buy from ebay. You are better off dealing with one of the brokers via the For Sale section....in the long run. If you buy from ebay...you might save $100...but you loose out in the extra service and support that a broker will provide. Just my .02.
I am not going to tell you who are those sellers. But based on what I have seen in the last 1-2 months. The eBay RNS-E is typically cheaper than the direct offer from this forum.
