I was going through the manual and it mentioned about audiopilot..

what is it actually? so you can talk to your nav+??

what kind of cars have audio pilot and if they don't, is it difficult to get it installed.

Audio Pilot replaced GALA on Bose systems in 2004. It's using a microphone to detect noise level and adjust volume, instead of the speed signal. May be hard to retrofit as it requires a differnet Bose amp and wiring.

So does anyone have a part number for Bose amps featuring the Audiopilot system? Wouldn't mind replacing my standard GALA Bose with this one, see if it makes any great difference.

I used to have a Blaupunkt DAB54 head unit which featured a microphone controlled EQ and the sound was absolutely fantastic. Maybe the Audiopilot would go some way to get this feature back, now that I have RNS-E (?)
