Hi!
I have a poblem with installing a new TV tuner in my A6- 09/99.
Today I have a old TV tuner but when I upgrade my Navi+ with a RNS-E
I got to have a C-version of the TV tuner but that is the
problem, the old TV antennas can not be connected to the new tuner
because the connector are different, do you know if there are a
adapter for this or what do I have to do?

where did you find the tv tuner C version??

Please let me know what the part number of your antenna switcher is. There is an adapter kit for the new switcher which is : 8E1 035 550 A.
This antenna kit converts all the old antenna wires to the new FAKRA connector plugs. I had to order it with my switcher to convert most of the wires over.

Please double check any part number though. I can't guarantee it will work for you application. It took me a few months to get all 10 of my wires converted and hooked up.

If i bought the B version, would it work with my RNS- E??

the price is quite high: i remember you paid much less (maybe 200€, isn't it?!)

It's ebay! I saw "C" tuners starting at one Euro, and some starting at 399 Euro. And the market has changed too, people know now what to look for if they have an RNS-E. But it's still less than the 1000+ Euro you pay for a new unit from Audi :wink:

I paid 129 E for my first one, but 400 E after that, still in the UK they are nearly 2000 E from a dealer.
