Those of you who had to trim the bottom of the faceplate...

(e.g., for a B5 S4 install), what did you find worked the best/gave the best looking final result? Thanks for the help.

I used a hacksaw blade to cut it off leaving a little extra matterial. Then I used fine-grit sandpaper and a wood block to finish it off.
