Hello all, I am new to this board and have just installed the unit in my '00 A4 with Bose. Everything is working fine except the radio reception. When I am driving, it wont lock on to a single station. I have verified that both antennae connections are attached firmly. I swap back to my Symphony and everything works fine. Any suggestions?

Bad Reception

I also have this problem with my radio unit....can't lock to FM station or locks on and then looses the stations

I have an "expert" taking a look at my problem later this weekend. Hopefully I can get some insight, and if I do I'll pass it along so you can see if it fixes your issues.

My RNS-D used to do this at random.

It would be fine for days, and then one morning out of every 10 or so, it would not pick up any stations at all. When I would get in to go home from work it would be fine again. Made no difference whether the diversity was in or not.

Swapped it to an RNS-E now and the problem went away...

Glad to hear when you switched up everything now works fine. I am having it looked at Monday so I will post info incase others are having this problem.

Its not a real big deal to me, I don't use the factory radio. For everyone out there, I wanted Sirius and ipod functionality on the screen so I have added the Alpine VehicleHub. I bought one of the many a/v inputs for the Nav+ then just connected the VehicleHub with the Alpine Sirius tuner and Ipod cable and now I get all the info right on the screen.

I just am kind of anal and want everything working.
