thanks man. it actually seems that 2001.5 and newer S4s do not have the CAN wires connected. The older ones seem to be plug and play.
im not too sure about the clock yet, i took the RNS-E right back out again when i was done. I dont have my diversity adapter yet and i need my radio
I can tell you that for the 10 minutes i played with it, the clock on the RNS-E unit was wrong, and it was set to get the time from the cluster.
