HI Help please befor I loose all my fingers stuck in those damn keys!
I am trying to remove Symphony head unit to make room for RNS-E . I am using removal keys and so far i ve suceeded in developing rather large blisters damn radio will not budge, never mind a slight tremor - it will not move at all...Is there a trick or something i can do to make that less painfull and acctually working? Any help is appreciated. Wojtek

I you have the 4 separate radio removal keys, the trick is *not* to use them to pull out the unit. Insert them in the holes, but if you hear a click, you've gone too far. The idea of the keys is to depress the tabs on the symphony unit so it can slide out. This happens just before the click.

1. Insert all 4 keys, but just before you hear a click
2. Pull head unit by the cassette opening

A much easier way, as documented by others is to remove the glove box giving you access to the back of the unit so you can push out the unit from the back.

Good luck.
