Speaker static solved, but now I have another problem...

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the help with the static problem. I took my adapter harness apart and rewired it according to NSX Jr's chart and bingo, no problem. 8)

Now everything works great- GPS signal, DVD, etc. But... after a few minutes of driving the suspension light comes on (its a '02 Allroad). I used the vag and pulled off the following DTC- Vehicle Speed Signal: no signal [sporadic]. I have to think this has to do with when I pulled the GALA off the instrument cluster. Any thoughts/ideas? TIA.

I think this problem has come up before. Try tapping into pin 31 instead of pin 3. Pin 31 is the same speed signal, but it only feeds to the wiper system for speed sensitive wipers... so you won't be tapping into the wire that goes to the suspension system.

What solved your static problem... removing your front speaker connector?
Thanks I'll try that later today. Removing the speaker harness did not work, but I took the entire harness apart and rewired it using your diagram. Works now!
