After installing my RNS-E i am having a problem with my SE BT kit. The noise cancelation seems to be working over time. People talking to me cut out as well as I cut out talking to them. This did not happen when I had the Symphony system.

Also, when we coded the car for the RNS-E we coded it for the phone. When I made or revieved a call the display would say phone. Now it no longer does. Did the car change the Vag settings since there is no factory phone intalled?

I have the factory fit phone with the adapter for my sony ericsson and the display actuall pops up the name of the caller or the number dialed etc. I think the coding of the rns means to pass that info through but it is possibly only compatable with the factory fit gsm kit.

I would like to fit the factory phone system but need to find the controller and figure out how to hook it up.

Does your adapter have the wires for phone kits? If you didn't order an adapter which supports phones, the wires might be missing.

The adapter is not the problem. The phone kit works it is just cutting out. It is like the duplex voice cancellation is not working properly.
