RNS-E is not comareable to DIS nav. You will get more functionality like TEL and MP3 player etc. IMHO it is worth every penny 
Should I get RNS-E?

I am new to the forum and after some advice. I have recently bought a new A3 2.0 T DSG, and it came with the navigation system that displays in the DIS. But me liking the gadgets would prefer the RNS-E, is it worth the change? I am in the UK where could I go about getting one and how hard is it to fit? I really need to convince the wife too!! So any pointers would be gratefuly recieved!!

Do you get a telephone straight away or do you have to buy an extra module?
Bluetooth TEL is an add on module.
