How can I enter the secret menu for the rns-e? I couldn't find it on this forum.
Do I need to enter this to adjust the rns-e to my car or do I have to do it by a VAG-COm cable and software. My VAG-COM cable and software will arrive tommorow.

to get into engineering mode..

there really isnt anything you need to adjust in there though, just helpful for troubleshooting..


you will need VAG-COM to recode the RNS-E for your specific car with your specific options and to get the DIS to work.. in most cases the RNS-E will already be coded for basic operation (ie. without phone, TV, XM, steering wheel controls, etc.)
