Yes that's an easy one.

Using VAG-Com, dive into the instrument cluster

You will see a seven digit number against the coding.

The pen-ultimate digit is the one that does the seatbelt warning.
Mine was originally 4 - which means seatbelt warning for driver and passenger.
I changed the vale to 1 - so now I get a warning for driver, but nothing for passenger.
You could change it to 0 - which would give you no warning at all.


So to summarise:
17 instruments =>
recode module 07 =>
* started 2049443
* changed to 2049413

Hello. I have been trying to fix the seat belt warning problem for a very long time, I even went to the dealership for help but they couldn't fix it. But I was very lucky that my friend advised me to get myself a new Seat Belt Extender.
At first I was quite skeptical about this advice, but surprisingly it worked and I got rid of this problem.
