I bought a 4GB SD card that is SDHC, I have loaded it into the RNS-E but it doesnt seem to recognize it. Has anybody had any luck with SDHC cards or does anyone know of any 4GB cards that work with this unit?

I have the Transcent 150x 4GB SD card which works just fine. Never tried an SDHC though.

I think only SD cards will work, not SDHC.

From Wiki:
SDHC uses the same form factor as SD, but the SD 2.0 standard in SDHC uses a different memory addressing method (sector addressing vs byte addressing).

Basically, a SDHC reader should read both SD & SDHC cards. However, a SD reader will not read SDHC cards.

Many people have reported success with 4GB A-Data SD cards.

I thought that all 4GB and larger cards are SDHC because the standard SD cards are limited to 2GB. In general, compatibility for 4GB+ cards are iffy depending on the device. 2GB SD cards in general should have fairly universal compatibility.

Not all 4GB are SDHC. I've seen many 4GB SD cards without the SDHC logo.

transend 4gb cards are sd1.1 not sd2.0

given the 512 file/folder limit anyway then 2gb cards are probably just as useful...
I use 320kbps rip rate, so I can't get as many files on a 2GB card as I do on a 4GB card. So I use mostly 4GB cards.
