All,

My RNS-E should arrive this week and I'm preparing some SD cards in anticipation. I've tried searching, but could only find some of the information I need.

What I gathered so far:

- RNS-E can read .m3u playlists in the SD card root
- MP3s can be placed in multi-level subdirectories
- 512 files is the maximum number of files per SD card

What I couldn't confirm:

- Maximum file name length (including directory name) is 64??? Is this true?

Thanks!

Make sure you PRE FORMAT THEM FAT32 in windows!!
I didn't do this, and they wouldn't work for my untill I did.
Just right click the card and do a format. :)

Wow, that seems seriously limiting....
We coped with this limitation for many years with DOS, and with a maximum size of 4GB it's not that bad really.

I can remember using CP/M !
Same here.

I'm still amused by Texas Instruments wanting to "personalise" MS-DOS by calling it TI-DOS (read that backwards) ...
