Since the new rs3 comes with slightly wider front tires, wondering if using the same size (19") front and rear winter tires is ok?

Also, any suggestions for a spare tire kit? The rs3 has no spare and tires are not run flat. Comes with a can of sealant. Suppose a flat/tear happens out of cell range, far from a tire shop.

I don't know anything specific to the RS3, but the basic vehicle handling principle here is, the wider front tires are there to somewhat lessen the tendency for the car to understeer in hard cornering on dry pavement. Going to a narrower tire, the same width as the rears, and the same circumference as the original fronts (which I assume is the same as the rears) should be fine from a fit and handling point of view. You don't fit winter tires to do maximum cornering, whether dry, wet, snowy, or icy, anyway.
