Hi All,
Quick question for the folks here specific to my RNS-E system in my s4.

The sound from the system in my view is not great considering the cost of these options and wondered if there could be a setup fault.
I also have a b6 A4 1.8T with Symphony and non bose(the in dash 6cd changer). In my view the sound and bass espcially is better in the A4 system than the S4 with Bose.
I recently by chance found out the the rns-e was changed under warranty by the previous owner so i guess it could be possible that it is not coded correctly for bose?. Unfortunately I dont have vag com yet but wondered if there is any 'engineering' type mode that could tell me settings or aome suggestions on things i could look for.
my car is a march 2004 car but under the dsp section only has i think 4 gala profiles which i have now turned off.
Previously I had a A3 with bose and that had audiopilot which was much better at altering the sound.

So, any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I can't confirm it right now but as far as I know, you don't have GALA or DSP settings if the HU is coded for Bose. With a newer (A4 B6) Bose system, the Audio Pilot does the "GALA" thing.
