I am going to install RNS-E in my 2003 A6 2.7t and I would like to know what guage wire and what type of wire tap would be the best to run behind the cluster. Any help would be appriciated Thanx guys :D

Hi, thin is fine. You are accessing signals from the cluster connectors, no significant current carrying capacity is needed. Audi used 0.35 mm square or 0.5 mm square cross section wires for these sort of applications. This corresponds to approximately 22 AWG and 20 AWG. I understand Radio Shack have some small gel filled connectors (intended for telephony) that are ideal for making these taps.
