RNS-E VAG recoding problems

I have been trying to re-code my new RNS-E system to match the equipment loaded into the car. The car is a B6 S4 2005. Everytime I try to recode the unit, it always goes back to the orginal code it was programmed with. It also spits out a module code incorrectly fault. Is there a login code I must use. The unit is working great besides the incorrect code fault. The instrument (17) module was coded correctly and is displaying the Nav signal correctly. TIA.

What version of Vag-Com are you using, and what cable?

If I remember correctly the older versions of Vag-Com won't work with the RNS-E - that could explain why your cluster has re-coded but the RNS-E hasn't.
