Hi,
Thanks for this fantastic resource. I have now retrofitted an A6 RNS-E to my A2. I have one outstanding issue though. I cannot get VAG-COM to accept certain codes.
For instance, the details on the OpenOBD site show the follow adaptation for STG 56:
-> Channel 136 (Voice commands)
00005 - LHD (USA)
00013 - RHD (USA)
02632 - RHD (Europe)
03226 - LHD (Europe)
It was provided as 3226 - and I wanted to change this to 2632 (as I'm based in the UK). When I enter the value and hit Test - the system just redisplays 3226 and doesn't allow me to change it.
For now, I have recoded at 13 - but I'm not sure what the US part would mean to the code - I really want this to show 2632.
Another example is setting a code to 0. For example, the OBD site shows:
-> Channel 002 (GALA)
0 - Self calibration
8 - Audi A6 (4B)
43 - Audi A3 (8P)
45 - Audi A4 (> 2004)
If I enter 0 into VAG-COM, then the Test & Save buttons are greyed out. How do I reset this channel to be 0? I imagine the other options are not suitable for an A2.
FYI, I am using the latest VAG-COM (Release 607) with my genuine Rosstech HEX-CAN+USB adaptor.
Thanks,
Ben.
