Euro DVD 2005 includes sw 0100 only. You will need to get a Euro 2005_1 (sw 0330) or 2005_2 DVD (sw 0360) to get the new phone features. Don't just borrow a DVD, your old 2005 DVD won't work anymore after the update. The newest Euro DVDs are 2006 (sw 0450) and 2006_1 (sw 0460).

okay, i'm now using the Europe_1 DVD which has upgraded my software to version 0460. But I still have the message

"When you recieve a call the following options can be selected using the rotary push button: .... etc."

Please let me know what settings need to be programed in the VAG-COM. I have a 2004 UK Audi A3 (8P).

Thanks again

make sure that your phone interface (#77) has an index letter of C, F, H, M or K. If that's the case recode the phone interface to 1xxxx to tell it that there is a "HIGH" RNS-E connected. Then check the softcoding of the RNS-E (#56) and set 0xxx7xx to make it look for the phone interface. To apply the changes set #56 channel 111 to 1, the RNS-E will then do a cold reboot and the enhanced phone features should be available.

thanks for the help again, I printed this out and some other coding info and got my local audi garage to do the codeing while it was in for a service. Now I have a proper telephone menu with pairing key settings, etc. but I cant seem to get my bluetooth phone to talk to it. How do I pair them up or get them talking? I've tried searching for the module on my phone but nothing found :( Could there be another problem? Thanks

What phone? Is there any other device paired when you try to find the Audi UHV? The Audi UHV will only look for a phone the first few minutes after turning on the ignition and the phone must be discoverable by the Audi UHV.

Nokia 6233 and SE K610i. I've just been out again to try it but no luck. It just says "Phone not properly connected" or something. Any ideas?

Did you have the dealer check if Bluetooth is enabled on the interface (#77 channel 133 = 1) and that the interface allows pairing without cradle (#77 channel 134 = 0)?
