In an A3 8P the by far easiest place for the gps antenna is right on top of the RNS-E (there is a hole on top of it - you'll see it when you remove your current radio). But some people have reported bad gps reception with this location. Second easiest (and very good gps reception) would be behind instrument cluster - a 10-15 minute job and only two screws to remove. Third option (and good reception too as fas as I know) is behind the glove box. But I think this takes a bit more than 10 minutes and 2 screws.
