RNS-E Mobile phone mute

ok, searched but can't find the exact answer...

Can I connect the "yellow" cable that comes with my bluetooth kit (Sony-Ericsson HCB-30) to my RNS-E and get the unit to mute when I make/receive a call?

Do I have to change VAG to one of the following:

0xxx?xx: Telephone/telematics
1 - no telephone (supply voltage for microphone actively)
2 - Mobile phone preparation (Temic - Speisesp. Microphone inactively)
3 - Mobile phone preparation (Cullmann - Speisesp. Microphone inactively)
4 - Mobile phone preparation (Nokia - Speisesp. Microphone inactively)
5 - Telematics Europe (supply voltage microphone inactively)
6 - Telematics US (supply voltage microphone inactively)
7 - Base plate diagnostic capable with comfort control

Also, what cable/pin on the RNS-E does the "yellow" from the blutooth connect to?

Thanks in advance, stuart.

To use a 3rd party (non-OEM) phone kit you should code 1 - no telephone and connect the mute wire to Connector D, pin 11 (TEL MUTE). If your phone kit has a line out you should be able to use connector C, pin 6 (TEL NF IN -) and pin 12 (TEL NF IN +) instead of an external speaker.

Thanks AudiA4B6US, I'll give it a shot on the weekend when hopefully my radio keys arrive from the UK!
