I haven't coded it yet, but don't think that would solve it anyway ideas? when I enter the code it works, but it keeps asking for it. also I have not inserted my nav dvd yet. I will get that tomorrow.

Try to reset the unit (press FM/AM & Setup) for 10+ sec. I read this once but forgot what the solution was. If I find it, I'll let you know...
