First of all, thanks for a great forum. =D>

I build in the RNS-E in a Skoda Oktavia II.

I have learnt a lot from just reading the existing posts.

At first it didn't works, so I changed the STG 56 Coding to 0215111 and cleared all Failure Codes, now it works fine.

Gala and ignition is ok, DIS I don't need.

But now my question, the illumination don't work, I don't know why.

I hope anyone have an idea why. [-o<

Skoda is a part of AG so in many ways it is similar to Audi but not all components are wired the same way. Most likely you will need to locate and connect GALA from your instrument cluster (like A6), but PIN locations could be (and probably is) different.

02 is for the A3 8P which is similar to the Golf V. I don't know about the Octavia but I would try one of the other codings (e.g. 05 for the older A6). Assuming of course that the RNS-E is connected to the Infotainment CAn (if something like that exists).

Assuming you are connected to the correct CAN bus (infotainment), it's very possible that the Octavia II uses a different "dialect" of CAN to what the RNS-E is expecting. As AudiA4B6US has said try different vehicle codes to see if one of them works correctly.

Of course any code other than that for the A6 will expect the speed signal (GALA) over the CAN bus.
