I am thinking about getting this adapter

i dont think the oem cd-changer I have in there for my symphony I will work with the RNS-E - does it make any difference if I buy an adapter w/the cd-changer option if I dont hook anything up to it?

Is there anywhere else to buy adapters ?

Well, I always recommend to get the most complete adapter to keep your options. Even if you don't have a CD changer or phone, you may get one in the future, or an IceLink or phatbox or whatever. Since the RNS-E is still pretty new, it's easier to get cables for the Symphony which then connect to the RNS-E adapter. Since they usually cost the same you just get some spare wires for free if you buy an RNS-E adapter with CDC/phone support. The only thing you have to watch out for is Bose and/or the speaker wires. They must fit what's in your car or it won't work.

That is what I figured - minus some mods on the CAN the adapters for w/o bose (aka symphony) will work with both I and II ?
