Normally, it should take a couple of miles to self-calibrate.

The RNS uses the GPS positions to calculate what size tires and which type speed signal (abs/gala) is used.

Please check the following data with VAG-COM:

go to

STG 56 or 37 (Radio-/Navigationssystem)
STG Function 10

-> Channel 001
Use this table, and use the number of the corresponding tire-size:

1790 - 145/80 R14 (sumer tires)
1815 - 165/65 R15 (sumer tires)
1803 - 175/60 R15 (sumer tires)
1806 - 185/50 R16 (sumer tires)
1935 - 195/65 R15 (sumer tires)
1910 - 205/60 R15 (sumer tires)
1930 - 205/55 R16 (sumer tires)

-> Channel 002
Use the value 0 (zero) for auto calibration.
If it this doesn't work out, try the value 45 for Audi A4 or 43 for Audi A3.

Good luck,

One more thing: make sure you're RNS System is connected to the continue power (not accessory power).. The navigation must power off by a Canbus Signal (when you pull the key out of the ignition, the system will auto shutdown).

If you disconnect the whole unit by cutting the power all the calibration data will be lost.. So it has to re-calibrate every time you start your car.

Regards,
tony
