AFAIK the RNS-E will only show the TV option (for video in) if it finds the right device on the CAN-BUS. The Dietz emulates the TV tuner and sends the correct CAN signal to the RNS-E. I would also expect wired synch values.
RNS-E AMP connector ... is RNS-E just RGB ?
I have just been looking at the pin descriptions for the 32 pin AMP Connector of the RNS-E.
Is the RNS-E a normal RGB monitor, or is this being too simplistic ?
In which case any tuner or DVD player with an RGB output could play directly on the screen ?
