Does anyone think that using the 20 AWG wire from the telematics for the terminal 30 wire is dangerous considering that the Bluetooth module calls for 22 AWG
You've got that backwards. The BT module calls for the 20 and the telematics uses two 22AWG wires. A larger number in AWG equals a smaller wire diameter.
All these separate threads are starting to make me dizzy...
If I wanted to be safe, would it work to form some sort of adapter to connect the two 22 awg wires to a peice of 20 awg ware that connected to the bluetooth module?
I don't know if this causes more confusion but Bentley says for my 2004 B6 that T42/39 and T42/40 are both 0.5mm2, same as T54/1 on the BT interface i a 2006 B7. Am I missing something or is the wiring different in other Audi models?
Good point my Bentley CD is not working on my computer, but that would be great if that was the case. I hope we can get conformation before I do the install
