Hi,

I've seen an Audi Navigation plus unit advertised on ebay. (Part no 8L0 035 192 D)

How easy would it be to retrofit this to a 2001 model Audi S3? Currently the car has just the Bose Concert System.

Any estimates on how much it would cost to have installed in London?

It's not too difficult for the 2001 model. I did the upgrade in my 2001 model S3 in about four hours. You'll need a double DIN radio cage from vagparts - around 80 euro, a plug and play cable for around 30 euros, a GPS antenna and TMC box and the Nav+ from ebay.

Why TMC box?? Is it really needed?

TMC box is required to display navigation data on the DIS, and receive TMC data of course.
