I tried changing the coding of the last digit in the following channel, but it wouldn't save?

To do that just logg into STG 16 (Steeringelectronics) and change the last number.

0xxx?:
1 - Radio- and Telefon
2 - Radio
3 - Radio-/Telefon and Speech

I had this problem on my 2004 B6 S4 - there are "high" and "low" versions of the SCSM, and the "low" versions will not accept the coding for either cruise or MFSW.

What version letter of the SCSM does VAG-COM report?

I changed to 04041 and everything works like it should. I haven't had a chance to really get to play around with it and fiqure it out but it did accept the code.
