1435 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Stoodo
1) not sure if there is steps to do this (right now i have 4B0 EU upgraded to US functionality)?
Can anyone go over steps for phonebook syncing or is it automatic?

2) What is difference betwen SIM card phonebook and Phone phonebook and RNSe Phonebook?

3)Is it hardware issue?
I have a verizon XV6600 (pocket pc phone)

thanks a bunch as i cannot find clear answer

Phonebook sync is completely automatic both via cradle and via BT link (two different storages within BT module memory as it appears to me).

Differences: SIM card phonebooks are numbers stored in the SIM card, Phone PB are store within phone memory and RNS-E are stored within the RNS-E.
The first two, beside being on different places, just appear both on RNS-E phone phonebook (SIM's one with SIM icon, other with appropriate icon such as mobile, home, office).
Not the third one... RNS-E phonebook itself is to be used primarly with NAV functions, nothing else... no integration with other car systems known till today...

Hope this helps.
Ciao
thanks - helps a bunch actually...new US dvd release arrives tonight hoping for added functionality
Tonight? :) I am cautiously hopeful that there is new functionality. :)
