Put a "Marker" on the RNS-E while in route?

with the map shown, press the big round knob.. on the right side of the screen you will have options to::
- change orientation
- zoom
- save location
- scroll around the map (this process is not very user friendly, one of the few weaknesses of the RNS-E - most other systems use a joystick which works much better)..

not sure if you can do it while guidance is active, but if not, you could stop guidance, save location, re-start guidance..

I'm pretty sure the RNS-D (CD-based) could do this. I know it is a feature...but never felt the need to do/use it.

I'd be surprised if the RNS-E couldn't do it. I just go my hardcopy of the usermanual...so I'll have to look into it.
