In the image below, the top half is a new RNS-E screen at 900 ft resolution.
The bottom half is a 5-year-old Garmin GPS-V showing the same area coverage (higher actual scale)
Note that the Garmin shows the smaller streets, useful for navigating through this area. The RNS system shows empty space where there should be roads.




The RNS has far more processing power than the GPSV, and could easily handle the increased detail.

I know! I was just in a small town driving. I put the Navigation in map mode, and there were no roads being recognized by the Nav dvd. These roads have been there for over 20 years.

Just zoom in to 600ft scale and they will show up. I know this means there is less area shown on the screen, but it's the best you can get right now.

I had it on as low as it zoom
