I am sure this has been asked before.. I did search but to no avail (and check FAQs).. But is there a way of transfering your phone book from the phone to the Car directory? when connected over BT?

Seems awfully painfull to manual input directory enteries.

Also is there a way of loading a file (containing conatct deatils) onto a SD for the directory to read? Can the current directory be backed up to the SD card, then we can hack the backup to see what format it uses? Or is it compatible with MS Outlook pst format??

Sorry lots of questions. But as a N80/ Motorola V3 user I am sure alot of you can see what I am trying to achieve.

On 100% compatible phones the phonebook is transferred automatically from the phone to the directory.

Unfortunately the N80 isn't a 100% compatible phone (nor is my current N70, but my previous 6230 was).

There's no way of telling the RNS-E to read a directory from an SD card - the SD card is for MP3 music ONLY.
