part# for male pins

Does anyone know the part number for the male pins that go in the harness adapter? I got mine from kufatec, but they didn't put the BOSE wire in it and connect the K-line.

Thanks

Audi does not have a part# (that I am aware of) for this male pin...as the male pins are usually built into the head unit itself (but you could contact your parts guy and spend an hour on the phone trying to figure it out).

If you need some male pins from the Sym II 8 or 10 pin connectors...I have some. They are left over from a plug/play harness that I tried to assemble for my Nav+ install. See my sig pix.

They came from an Audi Harness that I bought from autotoys.com.

Products ordered:
SKU:
Product: AUDI 1986-2001 HARNESS
Quantity: 1
Item price: $ 13.95
SKU:
Product: VW / AUDI AMPLIFIED PREAMP SPEAKER WIRE HARNESS LEAD 87-94
Quantity: 1
Item price: $ 8.95

Try this link too:

Pulling the male pins out requires a couple sewing needles and some patience.

let me know...and I'll send you what I have.

FYI - Mine have the wires already attached...in multiple color codes etc.

Thanks, that's actually what I ended up doing. I got a Metra harness and just took the pins out of it. So, I'm pretty much ready as soon as my Kufatec order shows up.
great. Thats the ticket.

I have the part#'s for all of the other pins/wires connectors behind the SymI/II/Nav+. At some point...I'll post them.

Good luck on your install.
