OT: MMI is nice
Kind of off-topic but I'll post it anyway. On my last trip to Germany I didn't get my usual Audi rental car. All they had was one of those ugly BMW 525 with the famous i-drive. The only reason why I'm posting here is because this gave me a chance to confirm again how great the Audi MMI and as little brother the RNS-E is.
Besides taking twice as long to calculate a route and offering no alternate routes the i-drive also requires you to dial-click each time to get into the car just to see what you are listening to. If you don't do it you see only the main screen. And there is no volume knob besides the +/- on the steering wheel. My passenger was constantly asking me to change the volume because she couldn't do it herself...
