I have done a fair amount of reading on the topic and have causually trolled the forums for awhile now. I just want to make sure I am clear here. I happened to find a Euro A6 RNS-E on ebay that seemed to slide under the radar. I put the first bid on it fully expecting to get outbid. Silly thing must have slipped under the radar cause now I have a Euro A6 unit on its way to my door step. 4BO-035-192P.

I have a 2000 S4 with Symphony II Bose, phone hookup, CD changer (actually hooked to an ipod).

From what I have read and understand I need.

-RNS-E adapter
-50 Ohm to dual Fakra connector
-GPS antenna
-US Verson of the DVD that has been modified to convert my Euro unit.
-and anything else I want to add if I want to run bluetooth or my video ipod.

Where can I get a the DVD? Does a copy work? Can someone make me one so I don't screw it up? Or is there someone in Colorado that can help with that?

What is the best source for the other adapters. Euro-Parts seems to be out of the RNS-E adapter I need. Other good sources? Any packages available?

Great! I will get my order in then.

Still need infor on the DVD.
In the 2000 S4 you probably have the Symphony I (single CD), not the Symphony II (in dash 6CD).

You may want to go to my website and download the install guides there for the Symphony I to RNS-E conversion.

The DVD can be bought directly from Navteq. Call and ask for the newest A4 DVD. It will be version 2A.
Great! Thanks for the information and links.

Downloading and printing you manual now.
Wow - wish I had bought from you, BayrischerS4. Kufatec are painful!

Thanks, just keep me in mind if you know anyone else needing parts, and I fully understand wht you mean
Just some constructive feedback.

The Euro-Parts.com discriptions of adapters needs to be more clear. Not everyone shopping for this stuff is an electronics wiz.

This adapter is designed to convert the 50 ohm facory antenna connector to the FAKRA connector as well as allowing the diversity connector to be connected to the two plug FAKRA connector on the non RNS-E Navigation unit.
Adding a simple comment like. "required to put RNS-E in Audis with Sympony I head units" would be really helpful. :D
Just placed an order fro Euro-parts.com!

Thanks!
