This seems like a basic question. I am not able to control the DVD player from the RNS-E. I tried it with a generic DVD player with the remote wire from my Kufatec to the remote in jack but no luck. I also tried it with the ME-3 and still no luck. I get video no problem but no controls.


Am I missing something? I am pretty sure you shouldbe able to control basic DVD functions from the RNS-E. The multimedia adaptor is from Scott @ RIVAL and I believe it is called a Kufatec.

there are only a few dvd players (3 i have found) and a couple of dvb-t tuners that support the control signal supplied by the adaptor.. there seems to be a few different "makes" of the adaptor, but they all seem to support the same control method (wish i could find a link with the details of the dvd playeers, but i can't at the moment)
