I have an 01 B5 S4 Avant. It has been a part of the family for many years. Many upgrades on my car. Mostly for safety and longevity. 148,000 miles.
Recently had a kid nod off at 20mph and give my right front a kiss. He decided to drive off as fast as his KIA could go. Bummer day for me. The car was a gem.
I have decided to take on fixing the damage and keep the car. I am hoping to find some help finding what I need.
I am a died in the wool auto enthusiasts. Fiats,Aflfas,Volvos(fast ones!),Porsche 356,Lancia etc.
Basically i am a lover of great engineering and a semi-retired guy who wants to keep a B5 S4 going for another 140,000 mi.

My husband recently bought me a 2020 Q3, which I love! It is a bit of an upgrade from the Jeep I had previously, needless to say. I am from Portland, Oregon, though we moved to Vancouver, Washington almost 6 years ago. I joined the community to learn more about my vehicle.
Unfortunately, we discovered a bit of a leak in the panoramic sunroof that is quite a nuisance here in the PNW. I think when looking it up, I came onto this forum site. Glad to have somewhere to look for more info. If anyone has any history with this model year and the issue with the "raining in the car" problem, I would like to hear more about how to fix it without spending an arm and a leg at the dealership.
