There seems to be a new DVD based navigation system, similar to the RNS-E but without the color screen. Someone on Motor-Talk.de found this on the Middle East Audi pages.

Not sure if this will ever come to North America but it has the potential to replace the BNS unit.

The image was showing the navi but I guess Audi has changed the source. I have uploaded the image to the album here and updated the original post.

The device is not really interesting once you had the RNS-E with color display but it may replace long term the BNS or even Symphony, if the price and specs are right.
