Need some quick answers on the BT harness/module and a B5.

Ok. I have my car in the garage and my new "C" revision Bluetooth module and matching Kufatec harness (thanks Lanny/Euro-Parts) ready to go. Now, a couple quick questions:

First off, are there any English instructions for this harness? There are a ton of wires and connectors which are unaccounted for in the Kufatec photo, and there are no directions included.

Secondly, can I just wire this into the pre-wired OEM phone parts already in my car (e.g., the mic mounted near the sunroof and the small speaker in the driver's side door)? If so, how.

Thirdly, where is a good mounting place for all of this stuff? It seems as though I am going to have a ton of extra cable left over.

Finally, is there anything else I should know about a B5 retrofit, or just the regular install?

Thanks in advance guys. I'm going to go out and start ripping my car apart now, so I can get a good idea of the task before me firsthand. Any advice would certainly be appriciated. Thanks again.

see my guide, it may give you soem idea's allthough mine is an A3
Thanks. Something I haven't been able to find yet is an English translation of what the connections are on the Kufatec harness. Especially the loose wires near the red (RNS-E/RNS-D) connector. I am assuming that some are for CAN and some are for th mute, but I have no idea which are which.

Finally, why are there 2 power cables (one unconnected to anything and one connected to the harness).

Thanks.

I am translating some documentation on the harness right now and should have all of the connections deciphered within the next two days.
Cool, thanks. I actually have my car apart right now though, and think I am coming along rather well. Only thing I really need now are just the names/functions of the few unconnected wires near the RNS-E connector (red connector).

There is: 1 grey, 1 yellow, and 1 twisted pair (1 black with a yellow stripe; 1 black with a white stripe).

I am assuming that the grey is the telephone mute, and the twisted pair are the CAN signals, but I still don't know what the yellow one is, or which of the twisted pair are CAN-high or CAN-low.

Thanks again.
