Hello All:

I purchased my first Audi about 8 months ago. (2005.5 Audi A4). My Audi came with the standard stereo equipment with the multifunctional steering wheel. I now want to add a navigational unit and I have a few questions:

1.) What Unit do I need to fit/work in my car (RNS-E?)

2.) Will I be able to play dvds?

3.) Will I still be able to use the steering wheel to change the radio/volume?

I would really appreciate any advice.

Thanks

1) Your car came either with the Concert II head unit (single DIN) or Symphony II head unit (double DIN). If you have the Symphony II you can simply swap the head unit with the RNS-E. You will need the proper adapters also. Check the Quick Links for more details and part numbers.

2) The RNS-E does not play Audio or Video DVDs. You would need to get an external DVD player to do so.

3) Yes
